We can rebuild your
complete lower end, clutch and transmission, or provide specific lower
end maching services.
All
flywheels are twisted into true, NOT HAMMERED. This type procedure will
not result in structural damage to flywheels. Truing crank- shaft
includes remove and replace rod assembly, thrust washers and main
shafts, torqued shaft nuts, NOT IMPACTED.
These steps are
involved in a lower-end rebuild: Remove and replace and fit wrist pin
bushings and resize or replace rod bearing races. Rods checked and
straightened when necessary. Align lap right side main bearing race and
install left side main bearings and races with cases apart.
Remove and replace cam
bearings and bushings including pinion bushing and aligning reaming cam
cover.

Hone and fit big twin
tappet blocks for oversize tappets. Remove and replace and Rockwell test
tappet rollers.
Also
included are cam gear lash checked, end play shimmed, oil pump and
breather end play set, cam cover, tappets and blocks in- stalled.
